 Kopenhagen Fur is the world’s largest auction house for furs and the global centre of the fur trade.

Kopenhagen Fur is the world’s largest provider of luxury fur and an international brand name for the finest, luxury fur skins. Garments carrying one of the four Kopenhagen Fur quality labels – Purple quality, Platinum quality, Burgundy quality and Ivory quality – have been made from carefully sorted, high-quality fur skins. Only skins sold through Kopenhagen Fur and graded by Kopenhagen Fur’s sorters can carry the Kopenhagen Fur quality label.

Labels

Through the Kopenhagen Fur labelling system we can assure our customers that their fur garments are of the highest quality. Kopenhagen Fur’s labelling system is internationally recognised and all skins come from a farm environment that adheres to EU regulation and is controlled by the authorities. All furs carrying a Kopenhagen Fur quality label are Origin Assured™ certified, guaranteeing that the skins come from countries where national or local regulations governing fur production are in force.

Most skins sold through Kopenhagen Fur are mink skins but Kopenhagen Fur’s quality labels extend equally to fox, chinchilla and swakara skins.

Origin Assured (OA)

Origin Assured is an initiative launched by IFTF (International Fur Trade Federation). All furs carrying a Kopenhagen Fur quality label are Origin Assured™ certified, guaranteeing that the skins come from countries where national or local regulations governing fur production are in force. Naturally, all Danish skins are OA certified.
